Who Are We?

MOMS Club Modesto - Central is a local chapter of the International MOMS Club.  Founded in 1998, our club is a great way to meet other moms in your immediate area, and for your children to meet and socialize with other children.  Our meetings and many activities are during the day when moms need the most support.

What is the MOMS Club?

In 1983, a stay-at-home mother in California was tired of feeling alone.  She wanted to meet other stay-at-home mothers, and at-home children for her kids to play with as well.

When she discovered there were no organizations that met during the day and allowed her to come with her baby and pre- schooler, she decided to start a brand new organization just for stay-at-home mothers, and the MOMS Club was born.  The chapter she started was so successful, she knew mothers in other areas must be needing the MOMS Club, too.  Soon she and other volunteers were helping mothers start MOMS Clubs across the country and around the world.

We now have 2,000+ chapters in the US alone and over 100,000 members!  We also have International chapters starting too!   New Chapters are starting all the time.

We are a support group designed just for you, the stay-at-home mom of today.  Whether you work part-time or no-time, we are the group for you!
